Cronin Architects have provided project management & consultancy services to several large-scale projects, government agencies, and large multinational companies.
We have in-depth experience in a variety of sectors such as Data Centres, Pharma, Health as well as mixed-use developments.
Previous clients include Digital Hub Development Agency, Dublin City Council, Dept of Gaeltacht & rural affairs, Galway City Innovation District (GCID) and more. As well as design services, our services have included Stakeholder Management and extensive consultation facilitation, LEED Sustainability services, enabling works.

Client-Side services, Employer Representative (ER) & Owners Representative (OR).
There is a growing role in the provision of clientside services particularly to large public bodies as well as multi-national clients where their interests require representation in a professional capacity with their objectives achieved, maintained, and protected.
Depending on the jurisdiction, this can range from an Employers representative (ER) role to public clients in Ireland were dealing with government contracts on large projects or Owners representative (OR) role to private multi-national clients with numerous enabling requirements such as site selection, design team procurement, feasibility, localization, political lobbying, stakeholder management, project management and more.
Our other previous client-side roles have entailed services to public bodies in assisting them through statutory, construction, public consultation, design & construction quality, and other related aspects of large projects.
We offer in-depth experience in large-scale projects together with local knowledge and international best practice.
Prior experience of roles includes Clientside role to The Digital Hub, a government urban regeneration project to create a hub for digital media companies within Dublin city, the QP District, Qatar, Clientside role on the Information Technology & Communications Complex (ITCC) Saudi Arabia, Clientside role on the King Abdullah Financial District, Saudi Arabia (KAFD) and other private clients.
Conservation ➜
Architectural conservation is the process through which the material, historical, and design integrity of our built heritage is maintained through carefully planned interventions. Historic building conservation requires an extreme level of care & attention.
As RIAI Grade III Conservation Accreditation, we excel in the delivery of conservation projects and the care and attention to detail these projects demand.
We have valued expertise in liaising with local authorities, satisfying statutory requirements, and working in close partnership with enthusiastic clients, skilled craftspeople, and local authorities to produce the highest standards of conservation design informed by the principles of sustainability.
Our experience covers historic buildings of all ages including protected structures.

We have thorough experience of low energy design and international best practice and experience of sustainability certification systems including LEED, BREEAM, GSAS, Passive Haus, DEAP, and more.
In particular, LEED (or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the world’s most recognized rating system to evaluate the environmental performance of buildings and encourage market transformation towards sustainable design. This is changing the way we think about how buildings and communities are planned, constructed, maintained, and operated.
As members of the US Green Building Council, we have a strong track record in delivering varying levels of LEED certification including Gold & Platinum to several very large-scale national and international projects.
We have a continued interest in low energy design and in reducing the embodied energy of buildings and our commitment to the wider social aspects of sustainability and environmental design.

Assigned Certifier ➜
The Building Control Amendment Regulations (BCAR) came into operation on 1st March 2014 and introduced many significant changes to the way in which buildings are delivered in Ireland.
From a building owner’s point of view, this includes the requirement for an Assigned Certifier to the building works. Cronin architects are qualified to provide the role of Assigned Certifier role to projects.
