Cronin Architects is an Architects practice established in 2004 which has earned a reputation for high-quality design and client satisfaction
Our priority is enabling clients achieve great architecture that serves their needs and exceeds their expectations in a responsible and sustainable manner
Our collective achievements include a role as Senior Architect & Technical Managers for the construction of the QP district, Qatar, a $2 billion mixed-use project in the heart of Doha's business district comprising nine office towers up to 47 stories, a five-star business hotel, Tier III Data Centre, restaurants, a conference centre, and other amenities
Other achievements include Senior Architects on the King Abdullah Financial District, Saudi Arabia as well as PM Consultancy to The Digital Hub, a government urban regeneration project to create a hub for digital media companies within Dublin city

Diarmuid is a Registered RIAI Architect with a BA honours in Architecture from London Southbank University, where he studied under Sir David Adjaye OBE. He has an accreditation as a Project Management Professional (PMP) as well as RIAI Grade III Conservation. As a member of the USGBC he also has extensive LEED sustainability experience on some of the world’s largest projects as well as strong knowledge of BREEAM, GSAS, DEAP and more.
Diarmuid Cronin has over 20 years experience working in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East. He has worked on project with designs of Foster & Associates, SOM, Gensler, Zaha Hadid and more.
He has extensive experience in role of project architect for both large complex services intensive projects including Mission Critical buildings as well as a range of sectors from Residential, Commercial & Hospitality to Community, Healthcare & Conservation.

Vineta holds a Bachelor of Business & HR Studies Degree and qualified as an Accounting Technician achieving Diploma in 2016. She has 15+ years experience working in Ireland and Latvia as HR manager, European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project manager and accounts administrator
Being multicultural and multilingual (English, Latvian, Russian) she has experience looking at opportunities and problems from different perspectives

Ronan works with Cronin Architects in providing expertise in energy efficiency, decarbonisation and renewable energy. Ronan brings extensive experience in commercial and public-sector energy assessment, identifying and developing practical measures to reduce energy consumption, operational carbon and energy costs. His expertise includes energy auditing, decarbonisation planning, renewable energy, solar PV, battery storage, energy monitoring and the assessment and implementation of energy-efficiency measures. Ronan's input supports the development of practical, evidence-based pathways for improving the energy performance and decarbonisation of existing buildings

Mark works with our team in providing landscape architectural expertise across our education, community and public projects. A qualified Landscape Architect with over 20 years' experience in Ireland and the UK, Mark has worked across a wide range of public and commercial projects including schools, universities, public realm, parks and community environments. His expertise includes landscape design, master-planning, external learning environments, planting design and the integration of buildings within their wider landscape setting
His experience in education includes the design of school grounds, outdoor teaching spaces, sensory gardens and play environments. Mark works closely with our architectural team from early-stage design and planning through detailed design and project delivery, helping to ensure that landscape and external spaces form an integral part of the overall design approach

A Chartered Architectural Technologist and ISO 19650-certified digital delivery specialist with over 15 years' experience, Lee-Roy has led BIM and information management across major public-sector, healthcare, infrastructure and commercial programmes. His experience includes the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans, information delivery plans, information requirements, Common Data Environments and structured digital delivery processes in accordance with ISO 19650

Duncan works with our team in providing independent expertise in architectural conservation, built heritage and the sensitive adaptation and reuse of historic buildings. An RIAI Grade I Conservation Architect with over 35 years' professional experience, Duncan has extensive experience in the conservation, repair and adaptive reuse of protected structures, national monuments and historic buildings throughout Ireland
His work encompasses conservation planning, heritage impact assessment, historic building research, fabric repair and the integration of new uses and interventions within significant historic structures
His experience includes work for the Heritage Council, Irish Landmark Trust and local authorities, together with numerous award-winning heritage-led regeneration projects. Duncan also chairs the national Built Vernacular Heritage Steering Group
Duncan works collaboratively with our architectural team to provide specialist conservation input from initial assessment and feasibility through planning, detailed design and delivery, supporting an informed and sensitive approach to the continued use and adaptation of our built heritage
